Pertumbuhan dan Kandungan Biokimia mikroalgae klas Bacillariophyceae (Thalassiosiera pseudomona, Chaetoceros calcitrans dan Skeletonema costatum)

ABSTRACT


Research on growth and biochemical content of the Bachillaryophyceae class of microalgae i.e. Thalassiosiera pseudomona, Chaetoceros calcitrans and Skeletonema costatum have been conducted in the Research Centre for Marine and Fisheries Product Processing and Biotechnology, Slipi, Jakarta. Cultivation of Thalassiosiera pseudomona, Chaetoceros calcitrans and Skeletonema costatum were performed in three replicates of 3 liter containers in a controlled room with the temperature of 260 C and the light intensity of 1500 lux. The salinity of sea waterue media was 30 ppt with conway fertilizer.
The results showed that the highest value of growth rate was observed on Thalassiosiera pseudomona at the a age of 9 days and the highest density log 7,0 cells/ml , protein 8,37 ug/mL, chlorophyl-a = 34,3 ug/mL and carotenoid= 13,5 ug/mL.

ASPEK BIOLOGI (MORFOLOGI, HUBUNGAN PANJANG - BERAT, NISBAH KELAMIN DAN TINGKAT KEMATANGAN GONAD) IKAN KAKAP MERAH (Lutjanus malabaricus) PADA MUSIM PERALIHAN PERTAMA DIPERAIRAN BRONDONG, JAWA TIMUR

ABSTRAK

Research of several biological aspects such as morphology, length and weight relationship, sex ratio, and maturity level of Lutjanus malabaricus had been conducted on March to June 2007 in the waters of Brondong, East Java. The morphological characteristics of Lutjanus malabaricus cought in Brondong waters are D.X.11-14, A. III. 12-15, P. 16 -18, V. 12-16, emarginate tail shape, flat shape body and silvery red color body. The biggest length of Lutjanus malabaricus is 74 cm and the smallest one is 20 cm. Length and weight relationship analyses results showed that the majority of Lutjanus malabaricus cought in Brondong waters are alometric negatif. The sex ratio of samples (382 tails) was 1 : 1,25 (male : female). In general, the Lutjanus malabaricus cought were immature stage with the length of first mature (Lm) was 68, 3 cm and length of first catch (Lc) was 41,41 cm.

PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN KONSENTRASI DAGING LUMAT IKAN KURISI (Nemipterus nematophorus) TERHADAP MUTU ORGANOLEPTIK BROWNIES KUKUS YANG DISUKAI KONSUMEN

ABSTRACT

Research has been done in order to get the right concentration of pulverized kurisi’s (Nemipterus nematophorus) meat needed to be added into steam brownies facing the certain organoleptic quality that consumers like most.
This research was done by experimental method with three different concentration of pulverized kurisi’s meat added, they goes by 10%, 15%, and 20% from the total weight of wheat. The trial was carried out with three replication. As a parameter we gave organoleptic scoresheet to 30 panelists. Data analizes was done using RAL and ANOVA.
The results of the study were as follows : consumer likes kurisi’s steam brownies with 15% concentration of pulverized meat. Added the pulverized meat with different concentration didn’t give any real effect to organoleptic colour’s score but it did to the performance, texture and smell, as well as to the taste. The average organoleptic score from 15% added of kurisi minced meat is higher than others.

PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN KONSENTRASI DAGING IKAN YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP MUTU MPEK-MPEK LENGGANG PANGGANG IKAN GABUS

ABSTRAK


The Objective of this research was to discover the effect from concentration of fish meat added to the quality of empek-empek lenggang with ikan gabus as the subtitute. This research was done by experimental method with four different concentration pulverized meat added, which are 50%, 100%, 150% and 200% or in another words we can say the contrary between the fish meat and wheat are 0,5 : 1, 1:1, 1,5 : 1, and 2 : 1.
Trial plan was done by RAL and continue with ANOVA, if there is significant (F hit > F tab) it was carry over with BNT analyse.
The amount of fat, protein, ashes, water and total meat used are the measuring tape of parameter at 0 hour. Organoleptic test was carry by giving the scoresheet to panelist, so that they can give their point to the smell, texture, taste and performance of the product mentioned. This organoleptic test hold in order to discover which product the consumer like most.
The result we got was the added of different fish meat gives a significant effect to the sense of empek-empek lenggang. Concentration of 1,5 Fish meat and 1,0 wheat giving the best sense to empek-empek and did the real effect to total amount of fat and ashes also taste, texture and performance.

KINERJA MANAJEMEN PERIKANAN DI PERAIRAN KOTA TEGAL DALAM PERSPEKTIF OTONOMI DAERAH

ABSTRACT

Recent implemented governmental system gives liberated opinion to local governance to assess and to define organization needed based on local problems and capacity. It denotes that to manage local natural resources and to ensure decision-making process should be based on the basis of community. The assessment of implementation of autonomy concept is needed to hold up development of participatory management.
This study discusses the performance of local fisheries management on autonomy perspective, and to identify the key programs to accelerate implementation concept of the autonomy. Questioner for data collection was conducted by means of polling. Seven respondents were decided among the personnel of the Marine and Agriculture Office (MAO) of Tegal Municipality representing the sub offices of MAO. The perception of the respondent showed that the Tegal fisheries management achieved 46,9 percent performance level based on autonomy concept. Program of institutional empowerment was identified as significant factor in the implementation of acceleration of the autonomy concept.
